MJPRU Announces MSc Agriculture Counselling on July 25 for 2026–27 Session

Bareilly: Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University (MJPRU), Bareilly, has announced that counselling for admission to the first semester of its M.Sc. Agriculture programmes for the 2026–27 academic session will be held on July 25, 2026.

The counselling will cover M.Sc. Agronomy, Entomology, Plant Pathology, Genetics and Plant Breeding, and Horticulture. Candidates who have completed online registration for admission to the university campus must report to the Seminar Hall of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology at 10:00 am to participate in the counselling process.

Admissions will be conducted strictly on the basis of merit and open rank, while reservation benefits will be extended in accordance with the prevailing Uttar Pradesh government norms. Eligible candidates from the Open, AF/PH/FF, EWS and Women categories have been asked to attend the counselling at the scheduled time.

Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Technology, Prof. Upendra Kumar, said candidates must bring a signed copy of the application submitted through the Samarth portal, original mark sheets, transfer certificate (TC), character certificate, a valid photo identity card, reservation certificates (where applicable), self-attested photocopies of all documents, and two passport-size photographs.

Candidates whose admissions are confirmed will be required to deposit an admission fee of ₹50,000 on the same day through online payment or demand draft. Failure to pay the fee on the counselling date will result in automatic cancellation of admission.

The faculty has urged all eligible candidates to attend the counselling with the required documents to complete the admission process smoothly.
